Abstract
The average electron energy directly determines the rate of electron collision reaction, which is an important parameter in the study of streamer discharge. Based on the traditional model, this paper introduces the electron energy drift diffusion equation, takes 27 chemical reactions including 12 particles into account, constructs a fluid chemical reaction model, and simulates the development process of streamer discharge in 5mm rod plate gap. Two different values are set for the voltage. Combined with the average electron energy, the influence of voltage on the development process of air gap streamer discharge is studied more comprehensively. The results show that when the applied voltage increases, the average electron energy, electric field intensity and electron density of the streamer head increase, and the streamer develops faster.
