Abstract
Customized industrial Internet of Things (IoT) has presented more advanced requirements in strong pertinence, low energy consumption, and simplified design. However, the element-oriented, process-oriented, and chain-oriented services were not fully considered and addressed in traditional approaches. In this paper, we propose a Smart Collaborative Evolvement (SCE) scheme for Virtual Group Creation (VGC) in these scenarios. First, the physical and cyber distances are coordinated from a unified dimension. A novel probabilistic model is established by leveraging vertex and edge concepts of classical graph theory. Second, realistic and virtual groups are connected via a spatio-temporal relationship map. Multiple indicators are adopted to measure the characteristics of a specific group. Third, the comprehensive validation is executed to demonstrate the superiority of our scheme. Several representative benchmarks are described and imported into the platform for comparisons. The performance of SCE is better than that of other candidates in multiple scenarios. We believe that SCE is able to provide an acceptable solution for customized industrial IoT and cyber-physical systems.
