Abstract
This article focuses on the application of the DTN network, focusing on the actual scenario, to study and explore how different DTN protocols perform in the same actual scenario. The whole simulation process is realized by THE ONE simulator. The scenario is set to use an opportunistic network to transmit information after a smart car is damaged. We want to know how long it will take for the traffic units in the entire city to receive the information, so as to compare the performance of different DTN protocols. In this article, two protocols are mainly compared, they are PRoPHET Protocol and Spray and Focus Protocol. Compared with PRoPHET Protocol, we found that the performance of the Spray and Focus protocol is much better than that of PRoPHET.
