Abstract
With the rapid development of intelligence,the design of metamaterial intelligent algorithms is becoming a trend gradually. In this paper, we discuss the design of 1-bit coding metasurface based on different algorithms. Different coding structures are designed by using different intelligent algorithms. The phase difference of 180 degrees of units is set as fitness function. Genetic Algorithm (GA), Particle swarm optimization (PSO) and Hopfield Network (HN) are applied to design coding meta-atom. Then, the coding units are assembled as checkerboard and their scattering characteristics are verified by simulation. All the metasurface can scatter the incident wave into 4 beams in broadband. The results show that all the algorithms can achieve equivalent coding unit design and these methods can be extended in other fields.
