Abstract
In this paper, we present an empirical method of power allocation in Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) based Visible Light Communication (VLC) system. A Fibonacci polynomial based power allocation is proposed for allocating power to multiple users in a VLC environment and it’s performance is evaluated in terms of sum rate for different levels of transmit power. Sum rate for four users has been presented in this manuscript. Also, we present the sum rate for different values of semi-angle of LED and Field of View (FOV) of photo detector. It is shown that this method achieves optimum performance.
