Abstract
Here, a new solution is obtained of the paraxial Helmoltz equation, which describes form-invariant beams with an infinite topological charge. Transverse intensity distribution of such beams does not change on propagation in free space, but it changes in scale and rotates by an angle up to $\pi/2$ (in the far field). It is shown that the orbital angular momentum of such beams is finite, eventhough the topological charge is infinite.
