Abstract
In this research we present the main factors that influence the consideration of a wind energy supply system that is carried out in Ecuador with the Huascachaca Project. This is one of the projects that contribute to the energy transition carried out by Ecuador.Given the favorable conditions in the central area of the country, its location leads to believe that this type of renewable energy can cover wider areas in the Ecuadorian South as in other geographical areas. The installation incorporates all the elements and features necessary to guarantee the quality and reliability of the electricity supply at all times and inject into the national interconnected system, contributing to the diversification of energy consumption and encouraging citizens to use clean technologies.
