Abstract
Incorporating an underlying physics model in the interpretation of measurement data gathered in the PV factory brings advantages of clarity, accuracy in enforcing model constraints and relationships, and applying meaning to results. In this demonstration by simulation, we combine a detailed solar cell device simulation routine, with simple linear regression to construct a fast analysis program for aggregate inline measurement data. The program is constructed in a way that its ability to delineate a group of sought-parameters unambiguously can be evaluated mathematically.
