Abstract
Galileo, Europe’s satellite navigation system, will shortly reach its full operational capability. EC and GSA are actively promoting the adoption of Galileo. Specific R&D actions are launched to underpin the development of GNSS receiver platforms exploiting the differentiators of Galileo at their full extent. A key enabler of this development is the access to GNSS testing facilities for testing and demonstration purposes. This paper gives an in-depth review of the testing facilities and capabilities available at the JRC, along with a description and example results gathered in three representative test campaigns.
