Abstract
Usage of LED lights reduces 50% of total energy consumption. This can facilitate a future that is in front of us i.e. Li-Fi. This technology is used for transmitting data through VLC Communication. Visually challenged persons can be benefited by using this technology as it can guide them in an indoor system. The data transmission occurs only when a person has entered the room. It guides the person inside the room to walk confidently with the knowledge of each and every obstacle with the help of audio feedback. Comparatively, Li-Fi offers much higher speed of communication than Wi-Fi.
