Abstract
Data in a MTP device can be viewed on MTP host by simply opening it (without any intentional copying), but it has a pitfall that the data first gets transferred to temporary location before it's available for viewing. User may not be working on a trusted system and such a loophole can be exploited for unethical access to the data later. In this paper, a unique methodology is presented to encrypt any such data which were opened on MTP host with no intention of copying to avoid any such misuse.
