Abstract
This paper is based on the campus scene of Communication University of China. The 3D campus model was built by means of 3Dsmax and imported into the Unity3D interaction platform. Then a series of roaming modes and additional functions were designed including the first and third person roaming mode, automatic roaming mode, building information display system and background music switch. The completed virtual campus roaming system can display the campus architecture and natural environment from different angles, giving users a feeling of “being there”.
