Abstract
New concepts of car antennas for terrestrial communication based on Long Term Evolution technology (LTE), 5G and Car2Car/Car2X are discussed with regard to their environment in different mounting positions. Aspects of mutual coupling and interaction with sensitive satellite services are investigated. Examples of measured data are shown for problems of interference towards Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS) and Global Navigation Satellite Signal (GNSS) antennas.
