Abstract
Presently there is a large variety of indicators that are used to assess the performance of reverberation chambers. Nevertheless, many of them lack the necessary power to stress-test a vibrating intrinsic reverberation chamber (VIRC). It has been reported that normally operating VIRCs very often challenge the definition and application of widely used indicators, significantly reducing the number of meaningful tests that can provide with a stringent analysis. VIRC users are in need of indicators that can deal with this problem. As VIRCs are becoming more and more popular in their use and applications, this need becomes more important. In the present work we wish to contribute a step further in this sense by proposing the application of the Ljung-Box test. The proposed test is applied to measurements in a VIRC and compared with other performance indicators.
