Abstract
This paper presents a study on Multiband-Orthogonal Frequency Division Mutiplexing (MB-OFDM) Ultra-Wideband (UWB) signal transmission through a vertical cavity surface emission lasers and multimode fiber based Radio over Fiber system. The MB-OFDM UWB signals with frequency ranging from 3.1GHz to 4.8GHz are generated by the available commercial product - WisAir Development Kit DV9110M. Packet Error Rate measurement is performed to evaluate the system performance.
