Abstract
In this work, some elements to time domain characterization of reflector antennas are presented. The integral operators developed are extended to determine the radiation patterns scattered by reflector antennas, and the formulation related to the transient radiated fields is obtained by applying a temporal version of the physical optics corrected by fringe wave currents (TDPO+FWC's). A case concerning a front fed parabolic reflector illuminated by 4-PSK pulses is presented to illustrate the applicability of the concepts that appear herein.
