Abstract
Every country in the clever world of today is building smart cities at a faster pace. Public restrooms are becoming commonplace across the country as part of the development of smart cities. But our country's cleanliness and hygiene are at a standstill because of inadequate maintenance of public facilities. Women are particularly affected by this due to poor sanitation. As a result of their poor hygiene, individuals are reluctant to use public restrooms. The project recognizes this need and develops an automatic self-cleaning toilet system. In This paper, the concept showcases a smart toilet system that improves user convenience and hygiene via the application of advanced sensor technologies and smart automation. The system employs an Infrared (IR) sensor for user presence detection, triggering automatic actions such as flushing, lid opening and closing. A gas sensor is used to detect the level of gas present in the toilet. These results are also used to collect dataset. The result is an innovative and user-centric toilet experience and interactive displays for improved hygiene and users atisfaction.
