Abstract
This article aims to investigate a rotary coffee roaster's induction heating technology utilizing a half-bridge inverter circuit. It operates at 37 kHz, above the resonance frequency, and consumes 1 kW of electricity. According to experiments, it can reach a maximum temperature of 308°C in 10 minutes. After roasting for 13 minutes at the highest temperature of 240 °C, the roasted coffee's physical qualities showed the highest values in the test.
