Abstract
One of the thorough solutions to interface PV array with the load is by by means of Dual Active Bridge converters. DAB converters possess the advantage of galvanic isolation, voltage to conversion ratio is more and improved efficiency when compared to various other converters. In this paper, exploration of Dual Active Bridge converters is undertaken. Initially, working of DAB converter is analyzed using a DC source then PV array is interfaced with DAB, Perturb & Observe MPPT algorithm is used for Voltage and current control. Interface of PV array with DAB converter is fed to inverter for which the AC motor is connected as a load. The Analysis of various proposed model as mentioned above is simulated using Simulink and the results are corroborated.
