Abstract
In order to improve the conformance between the performance evaluation process and the real detection process under the scenario of distant early warning sonar area surveillance, a new performance evaluation method is proposed. In the evaluation process, the historical marine environmental data is used to model the underwater sound field, and a series of target routes are generated by the motion model combined with the Monte Carlo principle of underwater targets. The detection efficiency of the route is evaluated by cumulative detection probability. It makes the simulation analysis model more close to the real situation, and the efficiency evaluation results are more valuable.
