Abstract
As an important intangible asset of electric power utilities, the high value of electricity big data has attracted extensive attention in private and public sectors, thereby bringing increasing emphasis to its valuation and pricing. This paper proposes an attribute weight-based valuation model for electricity big data. The relevant quality dimensions of electricity data are identified to examine the valuation points of a specific data set inherent to data. In addition, the typical business value of the data is assessed from a cost perspective. Furthermore, the value of the data in terms of application scenarios is calculated. The analytic hierarchy process is used to determine the weight of aforementioned indexes to comprehensively evaluate the electricity big data value in terms of various dimensions. The effectiveness of the proposed attribute weight-based valuation method is verified using TIANCHI data.
