Abstract
With the proliferation of grid-connected distributed PVs, the active and reactive power coordinated operation issues of distribution network are full of challenges. An active and reactive power coordinated optimization operation model is proposed for the distribution network with considering the reactive power regulation capacity of distributed PVs. Besides, the two operation modes of distributed photovoltaics and power flow constraints are modeled. The proposed coordinated optimization operation model is tested on an improved IEEE-33 node distribution network. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method can realize the safe and economic operation of distribution network, and the active & reactive power adjustable mode of distributed PVs can reduce network loss and improve the voltage level significantly.
