Abstract
In this note we consider the impact of the IoT on our society. In more detail we will consider the digital transformation that is radically changing society, the problem of the large mass of raw data that must be transformed to become usable and intelligible and the question of the energy transition which cannot occur except through the decentralization of production of energy.
