Abstract
Blockchain is a technology that is constantly improving. The encryption algorithms that are used in the blockchain are of particular importance for its security. In the present work, the various algorithms for encryption and key generation - RSA, ECC, EdDSA, and hash functions - are considered. A comparative analysis of the algorithms was made. A survey of cryptographic algorithms was made in terms of message size, hash value size, and security. Each of the algorithms plays an important role in creating secure keys and improving security in blockchain networks. Depending on the desired degree of security and available hardware setup, each of the algorithms has its applicability.
