Abstract
E-WOM is a prominent source of information about online products on various e-commerce sites, significantly affecting decision-making. This study tried to explore purchase intention, especially in the context of the product type, and to know whether there is any generation difference in sharing reviews online. This study uses primary data collected through a questionnaire from frequent buyers of products from online platforms. Data was collected from 135 respondents through convenience sampling. From the research outcomes, it is found that there is maximum review sharing for electronic products in the product types considered for this study. The study also highlighted no generation difference in the review sharing.
