Abstract
In order to improve the quality and efficiency of the airbag gas generator in the assembly process, an automatic assembly production line of the airbag gas generator was designed according to the assembly requirements and technological flow of the gas. The assembly process of the airbag gas generator was extremely sophisticated and complex, the complete automatic production line had 12 processes, arranged in a U-shape, due to space limitations, so this article only introduced the first process - laser marking, the base pressed into the lower housing. The control system takes PLC as the main controller, combines with the expansion modules, input modules, output modules and communication modules, so as to constituted the completed hardware control system. By writing the control program, the turntable splitter transported the product to the designated station, and realize the automatic assembly process such as loading, base pressing, lower shell flipping, height measurement, needle engraving and coding, laser marking, visual inspection, and blanking at these stations. Real-time online monitoring of the control system used HMI (touch screen). After putting the control system into operation in the project, it showed that the automatic assembly control system of the airbag gas generator had stable operation, safe environment, high production efficiency and good production quality.
