Abstract
This paper presents a miniaturized filter bank with three channels based on monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) and low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC), which covers from 13 GHz to26.5 GHz. Distributed interdigital structure was used in filter design in order to get a small size and sharp edge, and the results of the on-wafer measurement show that the insert loss of each filter is less than 5 dB. All these three filters were assembled in a LTCC substrate with a size of 15 mm × 18 mm, which also contains input and output SP3T PIN switches and a complete bias network. The switching channel can be operated by a control voltage of ±5 V. The measurement results show that the insert loss of the filter bank is less than 10 dB and the fractional bandwidth is more than 20%. Measurement results have a great agreement with simulation results.
