Abstract
The control of a buck-boost converter based on Zeta converter using an improved voltage-mode controller is presented. The buck-boost converter has several advantages over the existing Zeta converters and is a sixth order system. The proposed voltage-mode controller uses normalization signals throughout to achieve improved transient performance. The stability analysis of the improved voltage-mode controlled system and the controller feasibility study are carried out. Also, experimental results under different operating conditions are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed controller.
