Abstract
Understanding Astronomy involves the perception of 3D phenomena, most often too small or too vast to be easily interpreted or visualized. This research aims to develop and evaluate an Augmented Reality application prototype for learning 3D Astronomy concepts and phenomena in middle school. Relating the technology impact with the educational experience, this work evaluates the usability, in a real classroom context, of a developed prototype. The results revealed a high degree of acceptance and satisfaction among the students.
