Abstract
This paper describes a bi-directional wireless power transfer (WPT) apparatus for Vehicle-to-Home (V2H). It consists of a simple and compact bidirectional single-ended converter and a self-synchronizing phase-difference control mehod. In this paper, proposed is a new control strategy that enables self-contained phase-difference control without mutual- communication circuit. The phase-difference and transfer power can be controlled by changing the MOSFET conduction time on one side without synchronizing operation between both sides. Furthermore, robustness against resonant circuit constants variation is much improved as compared with conventional systems. A newly developed wireless V2H prototype can seamless-bidirectional high-power transfer in high-efficiency.
