Abstract
The muon tomography method is being studied in this publication for a small scale laboratory experiment, which aims to the imaging of a lead cube with a cosmic rays telescope using Micromegas detectors. Two methods were used: muon transmission radiography and muon scattering tomography. The former takes advantage of the absorption of cosmic muons by the object we want to visualize, while the latter is based on the multiple Coulomb scattering of the muons as they pass through the lead cube. In both cases, the approximate position of the cube as well as its dimensions can be determined.
