Abstract
We investigated $Q$ -band ( $f$ = 35 GHz) and $X$ -band ( $f$ = 9 GHz) ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) spectra of Fe1-xCox single crystal thin films ( $x < 0.5$ ) in the (001) $_{\mathrm {Fe-Co}}$ film plane in terms of magnetostriction. The FMR peak width $\Delta H(f)$ and the magnetostriction $\lambda $ had the maximum and minimum values at the $\langle 100\rangle $ and the $\langle 110\rangle $ directions of the specimens. The periodic variations of $\Delta H(f)$ were due to the anisotropic variations of the frequency-independent part $\Delta H_{0}$ in $\Delta H(f)$ . The linear relationship existed between $\Delta H_{0}$ and $\lambda $ .
