Abstract
Among different renewable technologies, photovoltaic (PV) systems is a proper choice to install by small-scale investors such as residential customers. But installing merely a PV system cannot support a whole load of customers. On the other hand, batteries are still expensive to install by residential investors. Therefore, in this paper, a Levelized Feed-in Tariff (LFiT) scheme is introduced to persuade residential investors in installing both PV and battery systems. In this strategy, the price that the distribution company offers to investors is varied based on the time of injection power. To verify the proposed method, a real system in Iran is investigated. Economic analysis of the problem from the investors” point of view is also performed. Finally, a sensitivity analysis of system parameters is offered. The obtained result demonstrates that LFiT imposes an additional cost to the distribution company, however, a noon and evening peak shaving is accessible.
