Abstract
Rotor side control scheme for a doubly-fed induction generator wind energy system is proposed in this work. The control is based on a hybrid control strategy combined with intelligent control theory. The performance analysis of the control strategy is investigated for steady-state operation and under wind speed fluctuating conditions. The control focus is on the rotor side converter of the wind energy conversion system.
