This research aims to describe the internalization of local wisdom in writing scientific papers with a scientific approach. This research is qualitative using an exploratory approach to obtain better results and is directed to improve student scientific writing skills in the learning process of the Indonesian general course. Thus, the results can be implemented to preserve local potential. One way to address this is to apply a scientific approach combined with local wisdom in the learning process of scientific writing; thus, this research can be concluded to stimulate students to improve their scientific writing skills appropriately through the internalization of local wisdom using a scientific approach.
