Abstract
Two methods to enhance viewer's presence in movie-watching by telepresence robots in remote rooms are proposed. To keep coherance of eye-direction in all rooms, the system detects the object gazed by the viewer and controles the robot's face direction. To effectively express an affect change, which is tough to notice in non-face-to-face communication, the system interprets it into robot body action. These methods realize the suitable remote communication environment for movie-watching in remote places.
