Abstract
Highlights •We report a hybrid bi-catalyst electrode for total glucose oxidation.•Bimetallic composite catalyst (NiPt@CNT) and the immobilized enzyme oxalate oxidase provided higher energy output.•MetaLlic catalysts can replace many enzymes in the cascade multi-step reactions.•We were allowed to collect all 24 electrons from glucose molecules.•Long-term electrolysis presented high current density and stability.
