Abstract
Highlights •The bottom-up construction of carbon nanotube (CNT)-bridged MXene decorated with ultrasmall Rh nanocrystals is achieved.•The interconnected CNT-MXene frameworks effectively promote the transportation of reactants and electrons.•The well-dispersive Rh nanoparticles with a mean diameter of 3 nm provide numerous catalytically active sites.•The as-derived nanoarchitecture expresses exceptional electrocatalytic properties towards methanol oxidation.
