Abstract
@@@@Highlights •A novel FeOx/Bi4TaO8Cl heterogeneous catalysts was firstly synthesized for photocatalytic and Fenton oxidation.•Amorphous FeOx on the Bi4TaO8Cl nanosheets worked as cocatalyst to boost the activation of H2O2.•The surface-exposed FeOx can produce Fe2+ active sites by extracting the photogenerated electrons from Bi4TaO8Cl.•The better FeOx/Bi4TaO8Cl catalyst showed efficient degradation performance under near-neutral conditions.
