Abstract
Highlights •Particle-reinforced high-Mn alloy has superior resistance to high-temperature wear.•Borides-reinforced alloy has better wear resistance than carbides-reinforced alloy.•TiB2-reinforced alloy exhibit the lowest COF and wear rate.•Glaze layer on particle-reinforced alloy is effectively to reduce friction and wear.•Enhanced deformation resistance confers lofty anti-wear of particle-reinforced alloy.
