Abstract
Highlights •10% CO2 elevates the growth rate to 66.93 mg L−1·d−1 with 106.8 × 106 cells·ml−1 under autotrophic cultivation.•Glucose supplementation boosts lipid content to 31.87% over autotrophic conditions 24.80%.•Glycerol addition resulted in a lipid content of 31.78% and a high settling efficiency of 85.07%.•Mixotrophic cultivation altered the accumulation of pigment and lipid mechanism.•Optimized cultivation enhanced microalgae lipid production and resource conservation.
