Abstract
Highlights •QDs-SISCN integrates the advantages of both homojunctions and heterojunctions.•Novel QDs-SISCN-30 catalysts were synthesized at mixed solvent environment.•QDs-SISCN composites were highly efficient photocatalysts for 4-NA reduction.•The marked catalytic activity is ascribed to homojunctions and heterojunctions.
