Abstract
Highlights •Decorin was stably coated on the surface of titanium by polydopamine.•Decorin-coated titanium surface can inhibit the functions of osteosarcoma cells by inducing apoptosis.•The surface can also enhance the proliferation of pre-osteoblasts in vitro.•The surface is potentially useful for anti-osteosarcoma orthopaedic implant.
