Abstract
Highlights •A novel phenomenological distortional hardening model, mediated by crystal plasticity, is developed.•The model can capture texture evolution and complex anisotropic hardening including the bauschinger effect.•The model can predict the polycrystalline yield functions with microstructure evolutions as a mesoscale approach.•Macroscopic anisotropic hardening behaviors under various strain path changes are reproduced.
