Abstract
Highlights •A polyelectrolyte nanocarrier was developed based on alliin charge reversal.•The carrier was comprised of alliin, sodium alginate and ε-polylysine.•Targeted intestinal releasing of kidney tea saponin were achieved upon the charge reversal ability of alliin.•ALG-PLL-ALL may serve as a suitable delivery system for the intestinal targeted release of health factors.
