Abstract
Highlights •A novel UBE2S/AKIP1/USP15-NF-κB signaling axis was identified.•UBE2S directly interacts with AKIP1, leading to decreased K11-linked polyubiquitination of AKIP1.•The deubiquitinase USP15 mediates the UBE2S-induced reduction of K11-linked polyubiquitination on AKIP1.•Accumulated UBE2S/AKIP1 complex promotes nuclear translocation of NF-κB.•Silencing UBE2S expression suppresses GBM cell proliferation and tumor growth in vivo.
