Abstract
Highlights •Reactive micro-crosslinked biodegradable PBAT tougheners have been designed and prepared for toughening PLLA.•Sub-inclusion of rigid PLLA chains in PBAT domains enhanced the toughening efficiency.•Fully biodegradable PLLA/PBAT blends exhibit the excellent toughness-stiffness balance.
