Abstract
Highlights •A core–shell structural Ni-MOF@COFTAPB-DVA microsphere was synthesized by the in-situ growth of COFs on the surface of MOFs.•Yolk-shell structural Ni@N-doped C microspheres were synthesized by calcining core–shell structural Ni-MOF@COFTAPB-DVA.•The yolk-shell MOF/COF derivates attracted dopamine and repelled uric acid and ascorbic acid via the electrostatic force.•The YS-Ni@NC600/GCE electrode showed good voltammetric response, high selectivity, and high stability for dopamine detection.
