Abstract
The article discusses the concept of church planting, which is the process of developing new churches, for the Baptist Church in Virginia in the 21st century. An overview of the Virginia Baptist Mission Board's (VBMB's) church planting organization the V3 Movement is also provided. The financing of new church development, including in regard to pastors of new churches' decisions to temporarily take no salary, is discussed.
