Abstract
The article presents a case series of patients with chronic myelomonocytic leukemia. The disease was preceded by an immune thrombocytopenic purpura-like clinical picture. Autoimmune complications in the patients were detected and they received lenalidomide or azacitidine treatment. Some of the patients had thrombocytopenia out of proportion to the degree of anemia which deemed suggestive of peripheral destruction of platelets.
